Responsibilities
- Administer and document respiratory therapy for adult and geriatric patients per physician orders and department policies
- Provide aerosol and oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and arterial blood gas draws per policy; document treatments and charges
- Maintain patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record system, including flow sheets and charge entries
- Assist in training and supervising new staff as delegated; participate in department operations and safety initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to adjust therapy as needed; provide patient education as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and quality metrics; contribute to care plans and discharge planning

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's degree preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT credential; Respiratory Care Practitioner license in CA; BLS; ACLS; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS (Required)
- Additional certifications: NRP and PALS or PEARS preferred
- Experience/Epic: Minimum 2 years of recent RT experience; Epic EMR experience required
- Other: Current nursing license per the state of assignment; ability to work in a hospital setting; night shift availability
