Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems; operate x-ray and physiological equipment; assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; maintain equipment and records test results.
- Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures; ensure patient safety and proper response to changes during interventions.
- Operate and troubleshoot cardiovascular equipment (C-Arm, angiographic injectors, monitoring systems); report malfunctions and perform basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards; uphold radiation safety practices including collimation, shielding, and patient immobilization.
- Assist during procedures with administration of contrast media via catheter or direct injection; document procedures and results in the patient record; coordinate with the care team.
- Demonstrate EPIC experience as part of routine documentation and workflow.

Requirements
- Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience (preferred)
- Experience: At least two years recent experience in the field; one year catheterization experience (preferred)
- Licenses/Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) required; Radiologic Tech (RT) in CA and HI required; Current Fluoroscopy license required in CA within 6 months of hire; Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor required
- Facility/Specialty: EPIC experience required
- Additional: At least two years recent field experience; current BLS certification; current nursing license per the state of assignment
