Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations for residents with acute or chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADLs, functional mobility, and safety with adaptive equipment as needed.
- Deliver direct therapies and group activities aimed at maximizing independence and quality of life.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust interventions, and document outcomes in the medical record.
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and social work teams to support discharge planning and continuity of care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety guidelines; participate in care conferences as part of the interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Active occupational therapy license in North Dakota (or eligibility for licensure in North Dakota)
- 1+ year of relevant clinical experience in acute care or long-term care settings preferred
- Ability to work in a day-shift schedule within a facility-based environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient documentation practices
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and support discharge planning
