Registered Respiratory Therapist needed for a travel assignment in Lawton, OK. Start date 05/04/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range is $1,656 to $1,777 before tax with no guaranteed hours. Shift is 12-hour days, with on-call rotation and weekend coverage. Work in a hospital setting providing care in critical care areas for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under supervision of the RT Supervisor and Cardiopulmonary Manager. Responsibilities include bedside respiratory care, training of RT staff in critical care areas, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
- Provide patient care activities in critical care areas for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under supervision of the RT Supervisor and Cardiopulmonary Manager.
- Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation, adjust settings per protocol and physician orders, and document patient response.
- Perform airway management tasks, humidification, oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and administration of nebulized or inhaled medications as prescribed.
- Collect and analyze respiratory data, including ABGs and oximetry, and document findings in the medical record; communicate changes to the care team.
- Educate and assist in training RT personnel in adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care procedures; participate in rounds and care planning.
- Adhere to infection control practices, safety, and quality standards; collaborate with nurses and physicians to support optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Oklahoma state license for Respiratory Therapist (RRT) active.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of RRT experience.
- Ability to work in critical care settings with adults, pediatrics, and neonates; flexible to on-call and weekend rotation.
- Education: credentialed as an RRT; eligible for state licensure as required.
