Responsibilities
- Operate complex magnetic resonance scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images of tissues, organs, and bones.
- Screen patients for safety and contraindications; administer contrast agents as prescribed.
- Position patients, configure MRI protocols, and ensure patient comfort while optimizing image quality.
- Collaborate with radiologists to review images and adjust imaging parameters as needed.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and equipment QC procedures; document results and any deviations.
- Accurately document patient data, contrast administration, and imaging procedures in the charting system.
Requirements
- ARRT MRI certification required
- Minimum 2 years MRI Tech experience
- Weekend availability for Saturday and Sunday shifts
- Ability to operate MRI equipment and administer contrast agents
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical center environment and follow radiation safety protocols
