Responsibilities
- Circulate and assist in intraoperative cases across a broad range of OR specialties, including Orthopedics, Urology, Vascular, General, Trauma, ENT, OB/GYN, Plastics, Podiatry, GI, Ortho-Spine, Neuro, Thoracic, Vascular, and Robotics.
- Maintain sterile technique, manage instrument counts, assist with patient positioning, and document perioperative care in the electronic record.
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia team to ensure patient safety, proper equipment function, and efficient case flow; support room turnover between cases.
- Assist with case preparation, positioning, specimen handling, and immediate post-anesthesia recovery as applicable to the circulating role.
- May float within the OR department as needed; not assigned to other hospital departments.
Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission; licenses verification required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of OR acute care experience.
- EMR experience preferred (Cerner experience is noted as a plus).
- Must be able to work 10-hour day shifts; willingness to float within the OR as needed.
- Locals within 50 miles eligible for local rate; relocation and RTO details must be provided at submission.
