Registered Nurse — Behavioral Health/Psychiatric (Adolescent Inpatient) in Alorton, Illinois, United States. Start date: 06/22/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: 1,959 to 2,002 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12 nights (1830-0700). Travel - temporary assignment in an inpatient behavioral health setting serving patients age 18 and older. CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills (APS) is required for this role.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for assigned patients on the inpatient behavioral health unit, following the plan of care and organizational policies.
- Assess patient needs, document findings, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to establish and revise outcomes.
- Administer and document medications per policy, monitor responses, and ensure accurate records.
- Coordinate nursing assignments, supervise care activities, and direct other team members according to skill level and patient needs.
- Respond to emergencies, provide emergency care as needed, and maintain a safe environment with appropriate risk precautions.
- Participate in group therapies and multidisciplinary treatment planning, adapting interventions to age-specific needs (18+), and promote patient rights and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license; BSN preferred or equivalent years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent experience; Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- BLS certification required.
- CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills (APS) required.
- Ability to work with patients aged 18 and older in an inpatient behavioral health setting; ability to work night shifts and a 3x12 schedule; strong clinical and communication skills.
