Travel Registered Nurse CCU Job
GGH RN Float Pool - FT Days is a travel registered nurse position in CCU available in Geneva, NY. The assignment starts on 04/27/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Shifts are 3x12-hour days (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.) with holidays and every other weekend required, and two on-call shifts every four weeks. The role requires cross-training across multiple units and floating to ICU, ER, Med-Surg, and MST as needed in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,937 to $2,036. This is a travel - temporary assignment with no guaranteed minimum hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care across CCU and float to ICU, ER, Med-Surg, and MST units as needed
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments; monitor vital signs and clinical status; adjust care plans accordingly
- Administer medications, manage IVs, lines, tubes, and equipment; monitor for adverse effects
- Respond to clinical changes and emergencies; activate rapid response or call for physician as appropriate
- Document care in the electronic medical record; ensure accurate handoffs and clear communication with the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and family members to support safe, patient-centered care and discharge planning
Requirements
- Current NYS RN license
- BSN required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (through AHA or RQI) and NIHSS required
- Basic Coronary Care knowledge within 6 months of hire; CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Med-Surg, Telemetry, and/or Critical Care
- Must be comfortable floating to ICU, ER, Med-Surg, and MST units as needed
