Travel Registered Nurse PACU Job
Registered Nurse – PACU, Travel assignment in Clarkston, Washington. Start date: 04/20/2026. Duration: 13 contract weeks. Weekly pay: $2,521–$2,741 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 10-hour shifts (4×10 schedule). Work setting: Long-term care (LTC) - Nursing Home. This position supports Surgical Services in the SSSU/PACU and GI areas under the direction of the Peri-Operative Director, serving as a nurse supervisor with clinical and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the RN Supervisor for SSSU/PACU and GI, under the Peri-Operative Director, participating in staff hiring, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations
- Provide leadership in both clinical and non-clinical issues, collaborating with other Supervisors to resolve problems and drive performance improvement projects
- Organize and conduct staff meetings, education, and communication to optimize patient outcomes
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care following the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and the multidisciplinary team
- Promote health restoration and support for patients, families, and staff; supervise assigned team members and ensure regulatory and hospital standards are met
- Maintain the work area, perform nursing assessments to recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications, and ensure patient safety throughout the SSSU/PACU and GI areas
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Washington State
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Surgery and GI
- 2–5 years of progressive leadership experience preferred
- Strong PACU and pre/post-operative skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills; able to interact effectively with patients and families
- Ability to work in a team environment; proficient computer skills
