Registered Nurse – Med Surg, travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date May 4, 2026. Eight-week contract. Weekly pay $1,580–$1,678 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for mixed Med/Surg admissions on a 30-bed unit with a 5–6:1 ratio
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform ongoing assessments
- Manage IV therapies, wound care, and routine procedures consistent with unit protocols
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, case management, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Recognize changes in patient status and escalate to the appropriate team member promptly
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and patient-centered care standards on every shift
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience, preferably in level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital environments
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- No time off requests (RTO) allowed during the assignment
- Currently eligible to practice as a registered nurse in the United States
- Ability to work the listed shift schedule and adapt to a high-acuity Med/Surg environment
