Radiology Technician – Interventional Radiology, Rochester, NY, United States. Start date 06/01/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $3,069–$3,277 per week. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate competence in selecting exposure factors, positioning, and consistently producing radiologic images of diagnostic quality using CR/DR systems.
- Instruct and prepare patients for radiographic/fluoroscopic examinations and assist Radiologist during interventional procedures.
- Administer oral contrast as needed per exam and support patient education during imaging.
- Report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor and contribute to maintaining equipment readiness.
- Document procedures in Hospital information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS; uphold patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Adapt to department workflow, assist with non-technical duties as time allows, and maintain awareness of patient rights and safety across age groups.
Requirements
- Active New York State radiologic technologist license
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification/registration
- Minimum 2 years of radiology experience
- Interventional Radiology experience required; Neurosurgery/Neuroscience experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with on-call/callback responsibilities as needed
