SMH Level 2 RN 612: Traumatic Brain Injury NIGHTS is a travel registered nurse opportunity in a hospital setting. Location: Rochester, New York. Start date: 04/13/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,022–$2,216. Shift: 12-hour nights. This role supports care for adult and pediatric patients recovering from brain injuries, including oncologic surgery, falls, strokes, and motor vehicle injuries, in a brand-new, state-of-the-art unit. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide clinical care and emotional support to patients and families as independence is regained.

Responsibilities
- Deliver RN care to adult and pediatric patients recovering from brain injuries, including post-surgical and trauma populations
- Monitor neurological status, perform telemetry monitoring, and administer medications and IV therapies
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans; provide patient and family education to support recovery and independence
- Recognize and respond to clinical changes; escalate to appropriate team members as needed; maintain readiness for on-call or off-hours needs
- Ensure accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes; maintain safety and infection control standards
- Support treatment and rehabilitation goals through compassionate, team-based care in a fast-paced neuro/IMC environment

Requirements
- RN license with NY authorization (NY license only)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry experience required
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience
- Recent pediatric experience required
- PALS or PEARS preferred
- Ability to work in a high-acuity neuro-focused unit and to participate in a schedule that includes Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
