Radiology Technologist – Interventional Radiology travel assignment in Rochester, NY. Start date: May 18, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 8-hour day shifts. Weekly pay: $3,273 to $3,484 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. On-call requirements: 5–7 call shifts per 7-week time block (2–4 of these days will be weekend call). This position supports interventional radiology procedures within a health care setting, requiring teamwork, patient care, and accurate image production.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate competence in selecting exposure factors and patient positioning to consistently produce diagnostic-quality radiologic images for interventional procedures.
- Instruct and prepare patients for examinations; assist the Radiologist during procedures; communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment; report malfunctions to the supervisor or lead technologist.
- Complete all assigned procedures in a timely manner; use downtime to assist others and maintain room turnover.
- Maintain medication security and ensure access is limited to authorized personnel; adhere to patient rights in all interactions.
- Utilize Hospital information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS; participate in performance improvement activities as warranted; preserve patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- NYS License (or eligible to obtain prior to start)
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Two (2) years of radiology experience
- Interventional Radiology experience preferred
- VIR certification preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced interventional radiology setting and participate in on-call coverage
