PACU Holding — Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN position in Rochester, NY. Start date: 07/27/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $1,873–$2,065. Shift: 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, Monday–Friday. This travel assignment occurs in a hospital setting, in a PACU Extended Stay environment, caring for fully recovered post-operative patients awaiting disposition.

Responsibilities
- Provide care for fully recovered post-operative patients awaiting discharge or bed relocation
- Monitor medical-surgical and telemetry status, including cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
- Perform IV starts/maintenance, peripheral line care, oxygen therapy administration, and non-invasive airway support as needed
- Utilize Epic for charting; document assessments, interventions, and patient disposition
- Respond to Rapid Response and Code team activations; collaborate with PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Transport, Unit Secretary, and other team members
- Support post-operative patients across ortho, neuro, GYN, general, and observation services; age groups include adults and geriatrics
- Maintain safety and quality of care during the patient recovery and disposition process; participate in continuous improvement of workflow within the PACU Extended Stay

Requirements
- Active New York RN license (in hand to submit)
- BLS certification required
- Epic charting experience required
- Minimum 1 year RN experience; post-operative experience preferred
- Educational background: nursing degree from an accredited program (RN)
- Ability to work in a PACU/Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting; able to float to Med-Surg PRN
- First-time travelers accepted; orientation provided
- Pre-approved time off: one occurrence per posting
- Must meet the unit’s distance requirement: candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Background checks reviewed case-by-case
