Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and compassionate infusion therapy, administering IV medications and therapies per hospital and INS standards; monitor patient responses and ensure comfort and safety.
- Manage infusion center operations, including scheduling, prior authorizations, and clinical order reviews; maintain clear communication with providers, payers, and care teams.
- Provide patient- and family-centered education about treatment plans; assess understanding and document teaching efforts to support informed care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record, medication administration logs, and transfusion records in compliance with hospital policies.
- Support port care and infusion-related procedures; participate in care coordination for an average patient load of 15–20 visits per day in a busy infusion center.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and treatment planning within the infusion center and related services.

Requirements
- Active Vermont RN license or multistate compact license
- BSN required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of two years RN experience; one year acute care experience preferred
- Infusion center and port experience required
- Graduate of an approved RN school of nursing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced infusion center and coordinate clinical and administrative tasks
