Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions.
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Position patients, select appropriate exposure factors, and adhere to radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment, verify patient information, and ensure accurate labeling and storage of images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to optimize image quality and support patient care.
- Maintain documentation of exams, patient measurements, and equipment maintenance as required.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with a days shift schedule
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment and performing cross-sectional imaging
- Competence in general radiography and fluoroscopy imaging
- Strong patient communication, positioning skills, and attention to safety
- Commitment to radiation safety, infection control, and quality image production
- Willingness to complete a travel assignment for the stated duration
