Registered Nurse — PACU (Perioperative/PACU with Phase I & Phase II focus) in a short-term acute care setting in Rochester, NY. Start date: 04/13/2026 for a travel assignment lasting Weeks. Weekly pay: $2,172–$2,388 per week. Shift options: 3:00 pm–11:30 pm five shifts per week or 1:00 pm–11:30 pm four shifts per week. This is a travel - temporary assignment with a 27-bed PACU/Recovery unit. Orientation is 16 hours. NY RN license must be active in hand to submit and EPIC charting experience is required. Locals within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible. First-time travel candidates are welcome.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative/post-anesthesia care for Phase I and Phase II recovery, including airway assessment and monitoring.
- Manage post-op recovery, including vital signs, pain control, ETCO2 monitoring, and PCA administration as ordered.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV/Pharmacy/Radiology/PT/Respiratory/Social Services/Transport) to support safe patient transitions and discharge planning.
- Document Thoroughly in Epic; communicate discharge instructions and ensure patient and family understanding.
- Care for a range of procedures (endoscopic/laparoscopic, general, ENT, GYN) with orthopedic/ortho-spine and total joint considerations as part of PACU care.
- May float to related units as needed to support staffing and patient needs.

Requirements
- NY RN license active in hand to submit
- Minimum 1 year RN experience required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Mandatory competencies: Phlebotomy and IV placement
- PACU/Recovery experience preferred; unit accepts first-time travelers
- Ability to work in a 27-bed PACU/Recovery setting with Phase I & II focus
- Locals within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible to apply
