Registered Nurse, PCU | Fort Myers, FL | Travel assignment starting 12/04/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,024-$2,156 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 12-hour nights on a 12x3 schedule. Setting: hospital-based Progressive Care Unit, 36-bed surgical PCU with unit-specific workflows.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for PCU patients, including monitoring, assessment, planning, and intervention within a 4:1 to 5:1 patient–nurse ratio
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments per physician orders; monitor patient status and respond to changes promptly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans; document care in the Epic EMR
- Perform routine procedures, wound care, and basic patient care tasks; ensure patient safety and infection control practices
- Communicate effectively with patients and families; educate them on care plans and post-discharge needs
- Participate in unit coverage and float assignments as needed to support staffing and patient care

Requirements
- Active RN license (RN license number must be loaded in the profile)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Experience: 2 years of PCU (progressive care) experience required; prior travel experience preferred
- Education: Degree accreditation on profile or 5 years of acute care experience
- EMR: Epic experience required; ability to document accurately and efficiently
- Additional: Ability to work a 12-hour night shift; willingness to float to other campuses as needed; RTO requests must be submitted with the application
