Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Technologist) for a travel assignment in a hospital setting. Location: Olympia, Washington, United States. Start date: 06/08/2026 for several weeks. Responsibilities
- Prepare and scrub for interventional radiology procedures; maintain sterile field and assist the IR team.
- Perform and assist with vascular/interventional procedures (angiography, stent placement, embolization, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, biopsies, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty) under supervision.
- Operate imaging equipment (C-arm, fluoroscopy) and PACS; ensure image quality and documentation during procedures.
- Manage venous access and sterile technique; support scrub and room-circulator roles as part of the IR team.
- Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care, monitor patient status, and communicate with IR physicians and nurses.
- Document procedures in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and assist with charting and routine peri-procedural care.
- On-call duties: one weekday and one weekend per month as on-call coverage.

Requirements
- Active Washington state license (not pending); ARRT (R) certification; BLS required.
- Minimum 1 year IR/Angio or related experience; first-timers accepted.
- Outpatient experience required; OR, ER, or adult ICU experience preferred.
- Proficiency with IR techniques: angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, peripheral vascular procedures, venous access.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced IR/Angio setting, maintain sterile technique, and operate C-arm/PACS equipment.
- Must be able to work in the listed hospital/interventional radiology environment and adhere to unit protocols.
