Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical (Med Surg) in Atlanta, Georgia. Start date: 04/06/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,479–$1,541 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Days. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults on a high-acuity Med/Surg floor, including trauma and spinal/neuro cases
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, manage IVs, and perform wound care as needed
- Conduct frequent assessments, document in EPIC, and communicate changes to the care team
- Assist with pre/postoperative care, discharge planning, and patient/family education
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case management to ensure safe, quality care and smooth transitions
Requirements
- Active RN license; Nursys license verification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg/high-acuity specialty
- BLS required; ACLS preferred; EPIC experience required
- Ability to work on a high-acuity trauma/surgical floor and to meet travel assignment demands
- No time-off requests during the assignment (no RTO)
- Profile and documentation requirements: work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, skills checklist, references, certification card, Nursys license verification
- Availability to begin and complete an 8-week assignment on a 2x3 day shift pattern
