Overview
Registered Nurse – Case Management travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. Start date: 10/25/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,155 to $2,217. No guaranteed hours. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage care for oncology patients in an ambulatory clinic, aligned with a single provider and cross-covering a disease site as needed.
- Obtain medical records, schedule scans/tests, and coordinate referrals and follow-up visits to support treatment plans.
- Communicate with patients and families; provide education on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps.
- Perform, or assist with, RN-level skills as required in the clinic, including IV placement, port access, skin/wound care, trach care, and PEG tube care.
- Document thoroughly in the electronic medical record; ensure timely and accurate information sharing across the care team.
- Collaborate with medical and surgical oncology teams to coordinate care and maintain continuity for the head/neck cancer patient population.

Requirements
- Kansas RN license (active) and American Heart Association BLS certification
- 2+ years of recent clinic RN experience with adults and pediatrics
- Experience in patient-facing roles utilizing IV placement, port access, skin/wound care, trach care, PEG tube care
- Ability to work in an ambulatory clinic setting; strong attention to detail and thorough communication
- Oncology knowledge is preferred but not required
- This is a travel assignment; candidates must be able to travel as needed
