Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiologic imaging using fixed and portable X-ray equipment in a surgical center setting, ensuring diagnostic-quality images and patient safety
- Position patients, apply shielding, and adhere to ALARA principles; explain procedures and address patient needs
- Operate radiology equipment, process images, label and transfer studies, and utilize teleradiology and fax systems as required
- Maintain patient records, ensure HIPAA compliance, and participate in infection control and equipment sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with radiology staff and clinicians across service lines to support imaging needs for procedures and diagnoses

Requirements
- Licensure and Certification: Arizona State Radiology license (R); ARRT Radiology certification (R); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association
- Education: Successful completion of radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of radiology experience
- Skills: Proficiency with teleradiology and fax equipment; ability to operate in a surgical center environment
- Eligibility: Authorized to work in the United States and able to function in a busy outpatient/inpatient imaging setting
