This is a travel nursing opportunity with a 13-week contract.

- Weekend coverage: every other weekend
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized ICU patient care, using age-specific data to assess physical and psychosocial status
- Demonstrate accurate, age-appropriate assessment skills; perform ongoing assessments and document findings to organizational standards
- Observe, examine, review laboratory/test results, and monitor patient responses to interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary care planning to clarify patient needs and achieve optimal outcomes
- Support other staff in delivering patient care as appropriate
- Include patient teaching and discharge planning to promote optimal outcomes
Requirements
- Active Licensed Registered Nurse license in Illinois (Nursys must state Active IL License)
- BLS (AHA) current and ACLS (AHA) current; ACLS required within 30 days of start
- 2+ years ICU experience
- Residence outside a 50-mile radius from Mattoon, IL (local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered)
- Skills Checklist current to 1 year, pertinent to ICU
- Two Supervisory Reference Forms completed with dates employed listed
- Education appropriate for RN practice in Illinois (per state requirements)
