Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Travel) is available for a 13-week assignment in Olathe, KS. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to telemetry patients, including routine assessments and interventions
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry data, and respond to alarms promptly
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor for effects and adverse reactions
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to update care plans
- Document critical information and nursing actions in the EPIC EMR with accuracy
- Float to other acute care units as needed; assist with orthopedic and spine patient care as assigned
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and clear communication with patients and families
Requirements
- Active KS RN license or Compact RN license; BLS certification required
- Minimum 18 months of hospital nursing experience, with orthopedic and spine experience
- New graduates not accepted
- EMR experience with EPIC
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced telemetry environment
- Nicotine-free facility policy awareness per client notes
