Responsibilities
- Provide cardiovascular OR support as part of the heart team during procedures
- Perform surgical duties for operating room procedures under the direct supervision of a registered nurse
- Prepare the operating room, arrange instruments, and maintain sterile technique
- Assist with intraoperative tasks and instrument handling as required
- Ensure patient safety and readiness of equipment for cardiovascular surgeries
Requirements
- Active licensure/registration as a Cardiovascular Technologist appropriate for Missouri
- Certification in Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) or equivalent, as applicable
- Prior CVOR/OR experience preferred
- Education: Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field
- Ability to work in an operating room environment and participate in the call schedule
