Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse - ICU (Critical Care) in Batavia, NY. Start date 08/31/2026 for a travel, temporary assignment lasting Weeks. Shift: 3x12 Days. Weekly pay: $2,179-$2,212 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. This assignment is in a hospital setting on a mixed ICU unit with approximately 10 beds across about 6 rooms. EPIC charting is required for this role.

- Orientation: 12 hours; pre-approved time off: two
- Travel - temporary assignment in an ICU environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care for ICU patients, including monitoring, assessment, and individualized care plans.
- Manage ventilated patients, ventilator settings, HFNC, and fresh tracheostomy care as indicated.
- Titrate vasoactive/cardiac drips, IV sedation, and, when needed, continuous paralytics; monitor hemodynamics and patient response.
- Maintain arterial and central lines (including PICC) and support line care, IV starts, and port access as appropriate.
- Assist with chest tubes, interpret ABGs and 12-lead EKGs, and manage dysrhythmias; administer blood products per protocol.
- Float to med/surg as needed; collaborate with RT, pharmacy, radiology, and other multidisciplinary teams; document thoroughly in EPIC.
Requirements
- Active New York RN license in-hand at submission
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience; travel experience required; first-time traveler not generally accepted (may be considered based on profile)
- EPIC charting experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, mixed ICU setting with float opportunities to med/surg
