Speech Language Pathologist – Acute Care (Travel) in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Start date 08/03/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay $2,243–$2,305 per week with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Shift is 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, five days per week. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility. This travel temporary assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations for residents and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Provide therapy for communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders; document progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Deliver dysphagia management and safe swallowing strategies; monitor aspiration risk and modify interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care planning, discharge planning, and caregiver/family education.
- Complete timely, accurate documentation in resident records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (state of practice) or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- CCC-SLP certification or eligibility per state requirements.
- 1+ year of relevant clinical experience in acute care or skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment; strong communication and documentation skills; willingness to travel as needed.
