Responsibilities
- Provide resident-centered nursing care under supervision, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Perform wound care, routine hygiene support, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, report changes promptly, and contribute to care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain clear, compliant charting and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with RNs and other licensed staff to implement and revise care plans for residents’ evolving needs.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico (or current eligibility to practice as required).
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a 3x12 schedule (6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.).
- Availability for a 12-week travel assignment with guaranteed weekly hours.
- Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills; able to function in a fast-paced LTC environment.
