This is a travel temporary assignment for a Physical Therapy Assistant in a long-term care setting. The role runs for 13 weeks with guaranteed hours and a weekday daytime schedule. The position is located in Waldorf, MD.

Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapy services under the direction of the licensed PT, including therapeutic activities and modalities
- Support patient treatment plans with therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfers, and manual techniques as appropriate
- Monitor and document patient progress, response to treatment, and any changes in condition
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness of charting, care plans, and communication with the care team
- Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions and proper use of equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Maryland or eligibility for licensure
- Completion of an accredited PTA education program (associate degree)
- Willingness to work in a long-term care/LTAC setting
- Ability to work a daytime, five-day-a-week schedule (8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.)
- Prior clinical experience as a PTA is preferred but not required
