Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Sonora, CA, starting 08/03/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,714 to $1,783 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Night shift is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for ER patients following the nursing process.
- Collect and analyze relevant data; determine diagnoses and care issues; develop and implement a care plan.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders; monitor responses and adjust care as needed.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other members of the health care team; participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to various levels of nursing staff; promote a safe, efficient, and healing environment.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and timely; provide education to patients and families to support ongoing health and safety.
Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) required.
- Certifications: CPR/BLS required; ACLS or ARC-ALS and PALS or ARC-PALS required.
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of recent ER or acute care facility experience preferred.
- General: Ability to work the listed night shift and adapt to a fast-paced ER environment.
