Responsibilities
- Prepare the EP lab and equipment for procedures, including mapping systems such as Carto, EnSite X, Affera, and Rhythmia
- Scrub for ablation procedures (RF and PFA), assist with laser lead extractions, LAAO, and device implantations
- Assist with vascular access, catheter manipulation, patient positioning, and sterile technique
- Monitor patient status during procedures and document steps for procedural logs
- Troubleshoot mapping system connectivity and support hardware/software needs during cases
- Maintain equipment readiness, ensure safety protocols, and support the clinical team throughout shifts
Requirements
- Certifications: Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification and Registration as Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT)
- Experience: 2+ years as an EP Technologist preferred
- Systems: familiarity with Carto, EnSite X, Affera, Rhythmia mapping systems connectivity
- Setting: ability to work effectively in a hospital EP lab environment
- Additional: willingness to participate in orientation and unit training as scheduled
