Responsibilities
- Conduct OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to support student goals.
- Implement OT interventions to improve fine motor skills, self-care, sensory processing, and functional participation in school activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary school team to develop and monitor IEP goals; document progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Deliver classroom-based treatments and pull-out services as appropriate; maintain accurate, confidential documentation.
- Communicate with families, teachers, and staff to share progress and recommendations; provide consultative support as needed.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington state or eligible for WA licensure.
- Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Experience working with pediatric populations or in educational settings preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment and collaborate with teachers and other staff.
- Willingness to travel to the school site; ability to comply with district onboarding and any required background checks.
