Travel Radiology Radiology Tech Job
Radiology Tech needed for a travel assignment in Chico, California. This position supports a Level II trauma facility and requires floating to outpatient imaging in addition to the main hospital. The start date is 04/27/2026 for a 13-week assignment with a guaranteed 40 hours per week on a 5x8 Night shift (2300–0700). The role is for a Radiology Technologist working in the radiology department, operating X-ray equipment and documenting in EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders and department protocol
- Operate radiography equipment, ensure optimal image quality, proper shielding, and patient safety
- Document examinations in the EPIC EMR and verify patient information for accuracy and traceability
- Position patients, assess safety and contraindications, and provide patient support to reduce discomfort and anxiety
- Float between the main imaging areas and outpatient imaging as needed, maintaining workflow and quality standards
- Adhere to California CRT licensing, CPR certification, and fluoroscopy permit requirements; participate in safety and quality initiatives
Requirements
- Education: Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services
- Licenses/Certifications: Current California CRT license; CPR certification; Fluoroscopy permit
- Experience: EPIC EMR charting experience; at least 2 years of acute care radiology experience preferred
- Additional: Willingness to float to outpatient imaging and to the main hospital as needed; ability to work night shifts and meet a 13-week assignment
