Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams (X-ray) across the radiology unit, ensuring image quality and patient safety.
- Properly position patients, select techniques, and follow imaging protocols to optimize diagnostic results.
- Operate radiology equipment, process images, and document procedures in the Epic charting system.
- Maintain radiation safety standards (ALARA), infection control, and patient safety throughout exams.
- Communicate with the radiology team, coordinate patient flow, and float within scope as needed; complete required Healthstream onboarding before start.
Requirements
- NY State license required at submission
- ARRT certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of radiology/X-ray experience
- Epic charting experience required
- Travel experience preferred
- Ability to float within the hospital as needed
