Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated critical care nursing for ICU patients using the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, interpret data, and escalate changes promptly.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels; delegate appropriately.
- Document care in the EPIC electronic medical record; provide patient and family education; participate in rounds and discharge planning.
Requirements
- California RN license; active and in good standing
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ICU nursing experience with at least two years of recent practice
- EPIC EMR experience required
- BSN preferred; education aligned with job requirements
- Ability to work night shift in a high-acuity ICU environment
- Current CPR/BLS or AH-approved equivalent as required
