TLC Nursing is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-paying travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for skilled cardiac nurses who thrive in fast-paced procedural environments and are looking to maximize earnings while traveling.


About the Role – Cath Lab RN

As a Cath Lab RN, you will work alongside interventional cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to provide care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Common Procedures May Include:

  • Cardiac catheterizations

  • Coronary angiography

  • Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)

  • Pacemaker and ICD insertions

  • Electrophysiology support (facility dependent)

  • Emergency STEMI response

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients pre-procedure, including assessment and education

  • Monitor patients during procedures, administering medications as ordered

  • Scrub, circulate, and/or monitor depending on facility needs

  • Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies and complications

  • Provide post-procedure recovery and patient monitoring

  • Maintain sterile technique and cath lab safety standards

  • Accurately document care in EMR systems

Requirements

  • Active RN license (compact or state-specific)

  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent Cath Lab experience

  • BLS and ACLS required

  • Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills

  • Ability to take call and respond to emergencies

  • Experience with conscious sedation preferred (facility dependent)
