Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership, supervising and directing activities of nursing and ancillary personnel under professional and supervisory discretion
- Collaborate with Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff to ensure safe, cost-effective, high-quality patient care
- Oversee daily operations on the ICU-inpatient unit, ensuring patient safety, timely care, and positive patient experiences
- Assess patient experience and identify opportunities to improve quality and satisfaction
- Uphold professional standards, mentor staff, and facilitate interdisciplinary communication and problem-solving
Requirements
- Experience in a nurse leadership role within an ICU or critical care setting
- Ability to supervise and coordinate activities of nursing and ancillary personnel
- Strong collaboration with nursing leadership, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to patient safety, quality of care, and patient satisfaction
- Excellent communication and clinical judgment in a fast-paced critical care environment
