Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership as an RN Lead, collaborating with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and multidisciplinary staff.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory judgment.
- Ensure patients receive cost-effective, professional care that supports positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction while maintaining patient safety.
- Assess the patient experience and implement steps to improve quality of care and overall service delivery.
- Uphold nursing standards, enforce policies, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to sustain high levels of patient safety and care efficacy.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (California) and eligibility to practice in the requested setting.
- ICU nursing leadership or charge nurse experience demonstrating unit-based oversight.
- Ability to supervise diverse nursing and ancillary staff and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong focus on patient safety, quality of care, and patient experience.
- Effective communication skills and professional judgment in a home healthcare - hospice context.
- Willingness to participate in a travel-focused temporary assignment and work the specified shift pattern.
