Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) travel assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. Start date 09/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,168 to $2,279 per week. Nights shift, 3x12 schedule (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with every other weekend and holiday and a Sunday start. Work in inpatient and outpatient care environments. This assignment is through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory therapy services per provider orders, including delivery of prescribed therapies and devices.
- Assess patients, monitor responses to treatment, document findings, and adjust as directed within scope.
- Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, chest therapy, and ventilatory support as ordered.
- Document all care in the electronic health record and maintain accurate, timely communication with the care team.
- Prepare and operate equipment (including ventilators and related devices) and use medication distribution systems (e.g., Pyxis) as required.
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements; escalate concerns to the supervising clinician as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate patient care; provide patient and family education when appropriate.
- Maintain licensure and certifications current; comply with organizational policies and local/State regulations.
Requirements
- Active Ohio RCP license and Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials; BLS from the American Heart Association only.
- Must have RRT credential; CRT not accepted for this assignment.
- Proficiency with Epic for charting and Pyxis for medication distribution; ability to navigate standard hospital network systems.
- Ability to work nights (7:00 pm–7:30 am) and handle a 36-hour per week schedule; every other weekend and holiday; Sunday start as required.
- Physical ability to sit/stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform duties in an environment with exposure to infectious materials and chemicals.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the care team and patients/families; good dexterity for equipment operation.
