Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Travel) in Atlanta, GA. Start date: 04/20/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,993–$2,099 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 days. Work in a hospital setting with operating room duties, and on-call coverage including weekends and holidays. No block scheduling.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care as circulating nurse and assist in sterile technique for surgical cases
- Prepare patients, verify identity and procedure, and coordinate with anesthesia for safe perioperative care
- Maintain sterile field, manage instrument counts, and ensure proper instrument/equipment readiness
- Monitor intraoperative patient status, respond to changes, and document events and outcomes
- Assist with room setup, turnover, and turnover efficiency between cases
- Adhere to safety, infection prevention, and privacy policies; communicate effectively with the surgical team
Requirements
- Active RN license and current practice
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- Burn experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills; high rating on skills checklist preferred
- Ability to work in a high-acuity OR setting with on-call, weekends, and holidays
