Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long-Term Care travel assignment in Newport, Vermont. Start date is April 1, 2026 for a 7-week duration. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week. Shift is a Nights schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 pm–7:30 am). Local candidates only. This placement occurs in a skilled, long-term care setting that delivers ongoing nursing support to residents requiring extended care and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, documenting administration accurately
- Monitor resident condition, report changes, and participate in care plan updates
- Perform routine tasks such as wound care, vital signs, ADL assistance, and routine assessments
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support safety, independence, and quality of life
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation and follow infection control and safety protocols
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing to practice in Vermont
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
- Education: graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and meet the assignment’s schedule and duration
- Willingness to undergo standard pre-employment screenings (background check, drug screen)
