Responsibilities
- Provide routine personal care and assistance to residents under supervision of licensed staff
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and safe ambulation
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the supervising nurse
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in care planning and care coordination
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards in all tasks
Requirements
- Active CNA/LNA certification in Vermont or eligibility per state regulations
- Ability to work evening and night shifts
- Capable of lifting and transferring residents; good physical stamina
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Prior experience in long-term care settings preferred but not required
- Ability to pass health screening and comply with facility safety and infection control policies
