Physical Therapist (PT) needed for a travel assignment in Chambersburg, PA. Start date: April 13, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: 5 days per week, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility. Weekly pay: $2,267–$2,364. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing PT assessments for residents.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait and mobility training, manual therapy, and balance retraining as appropriate.
- Document progress notes, assessments, and plans of care; communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy, adjust plans as needed, and ensure safety and infection control during sessions.
- Educate residents and families on home programs and equip care staff with basic intervention strategies when appropriate.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent.
- Active Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain licensure in PA.
- Ability to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting with a geriatric population.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; comfortable collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
- Eligibility for a travel assignment and availability for the 13-week contract with 35 guaranteed hours per week.
