Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside and nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders, with accurate documentation
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, assess changes, and communicate findings to the supervising nurse
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort
- Maintain thorough, up-to-date charting and adherence to regulatory and facility policies
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care plans and resident outcomes
Requirements
- Local candidate required; local eligibility only
- Valid LPN license to practice in New Mexico (or as applicable by state)
- Experience in a long-term care or geriatric nursing setting preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet the guaranteed weekly hours
- Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced long-term care environment and maintain resident safety
