Registered Nurse, Oncology – Travel assignment in Burlington, VT. Start June 1, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,171–$2,252 per week. Guaranteed Hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: inpatient hospital unit providing oncology care.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult oncology patients on an inpatient unit, administering medications and treatments as ordered.
- Manage IV therapies, including IV antibiotics, anticoagulant infusions, and central line care and maintenance; perform IV starts as needed.
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy/biotherapy per orders; respond to treatment-related reactions and support symptom management.
- Conduct telemetry monitoring (no monitor technicians) and promptly escalate changes in patient status to the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR (EPIC) and participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and patient/family education on treatment plans and adverse effects.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other disciplines to ensure safe, evidence-based cancer care and adherence to safety and infection-control protocols.
Requirements
- Active RN license to practice as required for the state; current, unrestricted licensure expected.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification required.
- EPIC experience with documentation within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable.
- Prior travel nursing experience required; oncology/chemotherapy experience preferred.
- Experience caring for cancer patients with symptomatic needs; large teaching facility experience preferred.
- Chemotherapy/biotherapy certification preferred; strong IV and central line skills required.
- Orientation: next available date May 4; bi-weekly orientations on Mondays.
- Reliable transportation is strongly recommended; public transportation is not available in the area.
