Travel Radiology Interventional Radiology Tech Job
Key Highlights
- Weekly pay: 2,803–2,861 per week
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 4x10-hour days
- Start date: 04/26/2026
- Setting: hospital-based interventional radiology unit with neuro and light body cases
- On-call: late call required, 1700–2100; may occur up to once per week depending on rotation
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support for Interventional Radiology procedures, including patient positioning, sterile technique, and room setup
- Scrub and circulate for IR cases; assist with contrast administration and monitoring of patient status during procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot Siemens imaging systems used in single-plane neuro and body interventions
- Help with post-procedure care, documentation, and accurate image labeling/archiving; participate in shift handoffs
- Maintain strict radiation safety, infection control, and equipment safety standards; assist with room turnover and supply management
- Collaborate with radiology physicians and other team members to ensure efficient, safe patient care
Requirements
- Active ARRT Radiography certification (in hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (can apply once offered)
- 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience; scrub experience required
- Proficiency with Siemens Artis imaging systems (Artis Icono/Q/ Zee) in a single-plane configuration
- Ability to work in a hospital IR unit and to participate in on-call responsibilities as described
- Orientation and credentialing requirements as noted (credentials due one week prior to start)
