Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments according to established treatment plans
- Conduct treatment simulations and assist with planning processes
- Fabricate shielding blocks as required to protect patients and staff
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and treatment documentation
- Prepare and monitor equipment for patient treatments, performing QA/QC and ensuring infection control
- Collaborate with medical staff across disciplines to support optimal patient care and safety
Requirements
- Active ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) is required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience
- Proficiency with a linear accelerator (LINAC), specifically TrueBeam, and ARIA EMR software
- Ability to work in the listed outpatient radiotherapy setting and demonstrate strong patient-care and teamwork skills
