Responsibilities
- Perform mammography and related radiology exams per department procedures
- Set up imaging equipment and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Independently acquire diagnostic-quality studies, using proper exposure, technique, and patient positioning
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and age-appropriate care during all imaging procedures
- Maintain equipment readiness and room setup; adhere to QA processes and safety standards
- Document procedures accurately and communicate imaging details with the radiology team
Requirements
- Must meet minimum FDA/MQSA continuing education, experience, and equipment requirements
- Ability to independently perform imaging procedures with proper positioning and technique
- Flexible with work hours to meet department needs
- Comfortable operating in a hospital-based imaging environment
- Strong attention to safety and patient care, with clear communication and teamwork
