Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, using critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Monitor telemetry data, administer medications as prescribed, and respond to changes in patient status with timely escalation when needed.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and document accurately to maintain high-quality care and patient safety.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license to practice in California.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (a 3x12 schedule).
- Willingness to participate in a 4-week travel assignment.
