Responsibilities
- Operate radiographic, mammographic, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment, performing at least three modalities regularly.
- Safely transport and transfer patients between beds, gurneys and wheelchairs; prepare and manage contrast agents as needed.
- Conduct mobile imaging examinations when required; assist in procedures and ensure high-quality imaging with appropriate radiation safety.
- Verify and document exam results in the electronic medical record; collaborate with radiologists, clinicians and team members to meet departmental goals.
- Maintain equipment readiness, perform routine quality checks, and support patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.

Requirements
- Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice (California) required.
- ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) required.
- Current certification in at least one advanced modality (e.g., CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, PET) required; credential(s) such as ARRT-CT, ARRT-M, ARRT-MRI, ARRT-NMT, ARRT-S, RDMS/RDCS, CCI-RCS, RTPET or equivalent recognized by the credentialing body required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent field experience; three years preferred. EPIC experience preferred.
- Proficiency in CT, X-ray and fluoroscopy (OR) imaging; ability to work in a fast-paced travel assignment and adapt to a 4x10-hour shift schedule.
