Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse, ER travel assignment in Los Angeles, California. Start date: 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,896–$1,959 per week. Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week). Responsibilities
- Provide direct ER-level nursing care in a home-based hospice setting, including rapid assessment, stabilization, and ongoing nursing management
- Administer medications, IV therapies, wound care, and other bedside procedures per clinical protocols
- Monitor patient status, interpret vital signs, communicate changes to the care team, and implement escalation as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate symptom management, palliative care planning, and family education
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the charting system
- Adhere to unit/float pool policies, clock in to the appropriate unit, and maintain compliance with scheduling and workflow requirements
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (state of California or applicable multi-state licensure) and eligibility to practice in California
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- ER nursing experience; prior home health or hospice exposure is a plus
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and travel to the assignment location as needed
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
